Job summary

UL Research Institutes, including the Digital Safety Research Institute, seeks a Partnerships Manager to lead research collaborations and organizational partnerships. This fully remote role focuses on expanding DSRI’s impact by engaging academic, nonprofit, government, and industry partners and translating AI/digital safety work into clear, audience-appropriate content.

You will coordinate with Legal, Grants and Contracts, Finance, and Communications, represent ULRI at events, and stay current

Qualifications

Experience building and managing research partnerships across academia, government, nonprofits, and industry.
Ability to translate complex AI and digital safety concepts into audience-ready materials.
Strong written and oral communication for varied audiences.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue strategic partnership opportunities aligned with DSRI’s mission and programs.
Cultivate and steward relationships with current and prospective partners.
Develop and implement partnership strategies that expand DSRI’s research impact and funding opportunities.
Draft and coordinate technical and partnership materials (proposals, SOWs, MOUs, partnership agreements).
Track partner interactions, deliverables, risks, and performance metrics.
