Strategic Partnerships Lead

Permanent/Full time, US (remote)

The Team

biomodal's Commercial function is a multi-disciplined group of customer-orientated specialists, ranging across support, marketing, and business development. As an early-stage venture, the team can be characterized as highly autonomous and self-motivated with a passion for market disruption and customer focus.

The Role

As a strategic partnerships manager you will be expected to develop and manage commercial relationships with key clinical players, with a specific initial focus on the liquid biopsy space. The purpose of this role is to identify, negotiate and manage mutually beneficial clinical commercial supply agreements. The ultimate success of this role will be measured by the penetration of biomodal's technologies in the clinical space and the strength and viability of the strategic partnerships created.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships to support growth in the clinical space
  • Identify, evaluate, and execute partnerships with biopharma companies and clinical diagnostic test providers
  • Drive partnership negotiations, including co-development, licensing, and clinical commercial supply agreements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate partner needs into R&D, marketing, and business operations.
  • Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, ensuring alignment and long-term success.

The Person

The successful candidate will be a driven professional with a passion for building relationships and delivering results. They will bring a deep understanding of the molecular diagnostics landscape, particularly in the liquid biopsy space, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, PhD) preferred.
  • Proven experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or related roles in the healthcare or molecular diagnostics industry; specific experience with liquid biopsy companies preferred
  • Strong knowledge of liquid biopsy technologies and market dynamics.
  • Proven ability to negotiate complex agreements and manage cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Experience with regulatory and reimbursement frameworks is a plus.
