In your role as a Strategic Partnership Director at BMC Software, you'll hold a pivotal leadership position steering revenue growth by establishing and overseeing the strategic partnership with a major Global Outsource Partner. This opportunity offers a distinct chance to significantly influence the organization's growth and success. As an experienced sales and go-to-market (GTM) leader with effective collaboration skills, you'll foster relationships and serve as an advocate for this new strategy, fostering trust with senior leaders and stakeholders both internally and externally.

Here's how you'll contribute to BMC's success and your own in this exciting role:

  • Playing a vital role in advancing our growth strategy, fortifying solution sales capabilities, and coordinating cross-functional efforts to nurture a robust sales pipeline and seize market opportunities.
  • Formulating and executing growth strategies collaboratively with product, sales, and cross-functional business partners, positioning BMC Software as a leader in this space.
  • Driving growth priorities with global cross-functional teams, covering demand generation, sales play construction, customer events, and supporting geo-aligned solution sales specialist teams in effectively adopting and executing strategies, plays, and activities.
  • Utilizing advanced analytics and reporting expertise to offer strategic insights into market trends and representing the Strategic Partnership Sales team in forecast calls, quarterly product reviews, and GTM planning activities from a sales perspective.
  • Participating in customer and partner-facing events, as well as executive briefings.

To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

  • Embracing, living, and breathing BMC values daily.
  • Possessing a blend of GTM expertise, profound product & market domain knowledge, and sales excellence to deliver impactful results.
  • Effectively collaborating as a team member while providing team-on-team leadership and orchestrating internal and external resources to manage the sales process effectively.
  • Having a proven track record of senior-level software sales, focusing on building and managing strategic partnerships with major SIs.
  • Possessing a deep understanding of cloud computing, Global Outsourcers and SI ecosystems, and enterprise software solutions.
  • Having exceptional communication and presentation skills, articulating the value proposition at executive levels.
  • Demonstrating leadership capabilities and a results-driven mindset.
