Join BMC Software as a Strategic Partnership Director aligned with our top company-wide strategy related to Partner Go-To-Market (GTM).

In this role, you'll hold a pivotal leadership position steering revenue growth by establishing and overseeing the strategic partnership with a major Global Outsource Partner. You'll have a significant influence on the organization's growth and success. As an experienced sales and GTM leader with effective collaboration skills, you'll foster relationships and serve as an advocate for this strategy, building trust with senior leaders and stakeholders both internally and externally.

Here's how you'll contribute to BMC's success and your own:

In this position, you'll play a vital role in advancing our growth strategy, fortifying solution sales capabilities, and coordinating cross-functional efforts to nurture a robust sales pipeline and seize market opportunities.

  • Embrace a business owner mindset by formulating and executing growth strategies collaboratively with product, sales, and cross-functional partners, positioning BMC Software as a leader in this space.
  • Drive growth priorities by collaborating with global teams, covering demand generation, sales plays, customer events, and supporting geo-aligned solution sales teams in adopting strategies and activities.
  • Utilize analytics and reporting to offer strategic insights into market trends and represent the Strategic Partnership Sales team in forecast calls, quarterly reviews, and GTM planning activities.
  • Participate in customer and partner events, as well as executive briefings.
To ensure success, you should have the following skills and experience:

•Live and breathe BMC values daily.

•Possess a blend of GTM expertise, profound product & market knowledge, and sales excellence.

•Effectively collaborate and lead teams, managing resources to drive sales.

•Have a proven track record in senior software sales, especially in building strategic partnerships with major SIs.

•Deep understanding of cloud computing, Global Outsourcers, SI ecosystems, and enterprise software solutions, with excellent communication and presentation skills at the executive level.

•Demonstrated leadership and results-driven mindset.

Note: This position requires you to be located in Austin, Dallas, or Houston, Texas.
