Job summary

Alkira, a Lumen company, is hiring a Partner Solutions Architect in the New York area to collaborate closely with channel account managers and strategic partners worldwide. You will train partners, design joint customer solutions, and create content to showcase Alkira and Lumen capabilities.

The role requires 5+ years in a solutions-focused, partner-facing role with strong networking and security knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in a solutions architect/solutions engineer role with partner or customer-facing engagements.
• Strong networking and security knowledge is REQUIRED; cloud skills in AWS/Azure/GCP preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Analytical thinker with collaborative mindset and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Train and enable partners to understand Alkira and Lumen joint solutions.
• Co-develop customer solutions with partners for networking and security needs.
• Create partner-facing content (slides, videos, PDFs).
• Participate in partner events and webinars to evangelize solutions.
• Provide competitive intelligence to keep partners differentiated.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, sales, and marketing to support partners.
• Commit to continuous learning through hands-on labs and documentation review.
