Job summary

Liberty Paper Inc. seeks a Planner Scheduler to develop and maintain production schedules for paper roll stock operations at the Becker, Minnesota facility.

You will coordinate with End-to-End Planning, production, customer service, and sales to address demand changes, inventory levels, and equipment availability. The role requires 3+ years in scheduling or related fields, strong Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a 24/7 manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in production scheduling, manufacturing, customer service, supply chain, or a related role.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules using work orders, inventory levels, production requirements, customer needs, machine capabilities, and established inventory parameters.
• Schedule paper machine production activities and revise schedules as needed to accommodate expedited customer needs, operational feedback, equipment availability, or changing business requirements.
• Release production orders to manufacturing.
• Monitor production performance against scheduled plans and close schedules upon completion.
• Identify scheduling constraints or bottlenecks, evaluate potential solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and minimize production disruptions.
• Communicate and coordinate schedule updates and changes with operations, customer service, sales, and planning teams.
• Serve as a backup to the Customer Service function during absences, vacations, or as business needs require.
• Follow and support company personnel, quality, and safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a positive work environment by communicating and collaborating effectively with coworkers and leadership.
