Macdonald & Company has partnered with a privately held real estate investment firm to recruit a Construction Project Manager responsible for capital improvement and renovation programs across a Texas-based multifamily portfolio.

The role operates on the owner-side, collaborating with asset management and onsite teams to develop scopes, manage bids, and ensure timely, on-budget delivery across multiple assets.

Qualifications

• Experience in multifamily construction, maintenance or renovations.
• Strong knowledge of capital improvements, CapEx, unit turns, and repositioning projects.
• Ability to build scopes, manage vendors, and oversee project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Identifying capital improvement opportunities across a multifamily portfolio
• Developing scopes of work and long-term renovation plans
• Bidding out projects and managing third-party contractors/vendors
• Overseeing project delivery to keep on time, on budget, and within scope
• Maintaining close communication with onsite teams and internal stakeholders
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously across different locations
