The role operates on the owner-side, collaborating with asset management and onsite teams to develop scopes, manage bids, and ensure timely, on-budget delivery across multiple assets.

Qualifications

Construction Project Manager – Multifamily (Owner-Side)

We’re working with a privately held real estate investment firm with a national footprint, focused on acquiring and repositioning multifamily assets across major U.S. markets. They are looking to bring on a Construction Project Manager to oversee capital improvement and renovation projects across a Texas-based portfolio.

The Role

This is a true owner-side position, working closely with asset management and onsite teams to plan and execute CapEx programs across multiple assets.

You will be responsible for:

• Identifying capital improvement opportunities across a multifamily portfolio
• Developing scopes of work and long-term renovation plans
• Bidding out projects and managing third-party contractors/vendors
• Overseeing project delivery to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to scope
• Maintaining close communication with onsite teams and internal stakeholders
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously across different locations

What They’re Looking For

• Experience within multifamily construction, maintenance, or renovations
• Strong understanding of capital improvements / CapEx / unit turns / repositioning projects
• Ability to build scopes, manage vendors, and oversee project delivery
• Comfortable working across multiple assets and projects at once
• Solid knowledge of building systems, materials, and renovation processes
• Strong communication and coordination skills
