Job summary

Western International Gas & Cylinders, Inc. is seeking a sales support associate in Ohio to drive outbound campaigns, schedule appointments, and provide quotes to secure new business.

You will assist in showroom merchandising, handle product inquiries, and back up inbound service while ensuring safety and compliance. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience in outbound calling or inside sales, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with outbound calling/inside sales experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and ability to manage customer relationships.
• Ability to work independently under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Clear speaking manner for explaining information to customers and employees.
• Basic math skills for calculations in all units of measure.
• Ability to learn MTG’s business/products/transaction systems.
• Strong telephone communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Place outbound calls to schedule appointments with new or existing customers and notify sales of confirmed times.
• Provide quotes or close sales when appropriate to gain new business.
• Identify issues and opportunities and communicate them for follow-up.
• Restock and arrange merchandise in the showroom and sales area.
• Manage requests for products, pricing, and technical information.
• Assist in warehouse tasks such as shipping/receiving and inventory stocking.
• Maintain showroom cleanliness and appearance per management procedures.
• Identify lead sources and assist pre-qualification with sales and marketing.
• Track outcomes of outbound campaigns.
• Back up inbound customer service as needed.
• Comply with DOT and OSHA regulations; observe all safety rules.
