Job summary

BJC HealthCare in St. Louis is seeking a Sourcing Coordinator for the OR category to optimize procurement and supplier performance across the operating room supply chain.

You will participate in best-practice exchanges, evaluate improvement strategies, and oversee project planning and reporting for multidisciplinary teams. A Bachelor's degree is required, with <2 years experience, and CPIM/CPM/APICS certifications preferred to advance system-wide efficiency and patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• CPIM/CPM/APICS certifications preferred.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience required; 2-5 years preferred for advanced roles.

Responsibilities

• Participates on best practice exchange teams to effect change.
• Evaluates, facilitates, develops, and implements improvement strategies.
• Oversees project planning, management, and progress reporting of multidisciplinary teams.
• Provides guidance to leaders and clinical/administrative teams in improvement methodologies.
• May manage a portfolio under $25M while supporting process improvement.
