Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Senior Manager in the Strategic Options and Assessment (SOA) team in Princeton, NJ. The role partners with global program teams and leadership to quantify risk profiles and generate valuation analyses of development paths, driving high-quality investment decisions at the opportunity and asset level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, economics, or other quantitative discipline preferred or 8+ years of quantitative experience.
• Minimum of five years of related experience in spreadsheet modeling & analysis, forecasting, financial modeling or valuation.
• Experience with matrix stakeholder management and comfort with ambiguity.
• Knowledge of the drug development process.

Responsibilities

• Apply therapeutic area expertise, risk assessment, and financial analysis to drive high-quality investment decisions.
• Provide updates on projects and TA at internal SOA meetings and track progress.
• Implement decision analysis tools to support strategic decision-making with cross-functional leaders.
• Facilitate strategic workshops to define frameworks, assess options, and identify key value drivers.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and influence decisions.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Analytics Team to develop methodologies for TA portfolio decisions and support ad hoc requests.
• Function as SOA leads within programs and support the broader Team of Business Development and Portfolio Analytics.
