Job summary

Public Health Solutions seeks a Director of Strategic Operations to partner with CPHDSS leadership, shaping data modernization priorities for NYC Health Department. This senior role spans multi-year planning, cross-agency collaboration, and scalable AI readiness.

Based in Long Island City with potential hybrid work, you will translate priorities into actionable roadmaps, manage funding strategies, and drive change across bureaus while delivering measurable results in a fast-paced public health

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and eight years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with public health and/or data modernization or willingness to learn.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, managing complex projects, coordinating across diverse teams, and delivering results on time.
• Strategic problem solver who can work independently and with teams to deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute high-priority strategic initiatives with CPHDS leadership.
• Develop multi-year strategic roadmaps and align priorities with funding.
• Coordinate stakeholder relationships across DOHMH and external partners.
• Manage project plans, timelines, risks, and deliverables.
• Lead change management efforts and drive execution.
