Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Strategic Operations Research Analyst to model adversary threats and friendly force responses at the theater level, translating government documents into AFSIM models for customer-driven analysis.

Will develop software, post-process large data sets, and coordinate with Lockheed Martin teams to deliver timely, high-quality analysis for diverse stakeholders. Security clearance (DoD Secret) is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited college / university.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with object oriented programming (Python, C++, etc.).
• DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Model adversary military capabilities using Advanced Framework for Modeling, Simulation and Integration (AFSIM).
• Develop software to meet customer needs.
• Post-processing large data sets to draw out valuable insights.
• Coordinating and integrating with teams across Lockheed Martin to conduct high quality and timely analysis.
• Interfacing with internal and external customers and stakeholders ensuring their analysis needs are satisfied.
