Job summary

Legato, LLC is seeking an Operations Research Analyst in Fort Meade, MD to tackle complex problems for our clients. This role requires a TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance and offers a salary range of $200,000 to $215,000, depending on experience.

You will lead analytical efforts, develop models, and guide a team to deliver impactful recommendations. You will perform modeling and simulation, apply optimization techniques, and create tools to improve decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM is required.
• At least 10 years of experience conducting analysis of management and operational problems using operations research techniques.
• 4 years of experience with modeling and simulation to address decision analysis problems.
• 4 years of experience with multiple objective decision analysis or cost benefit analysis.
• Experience with the listed software tools (PANDAS, R, Excel/VBA, ARENA, OCTAVE, Tableau, Gurobi/CPLEX, EXTENDSIM, SAS, NETICA, Stata, MATLAB, SPSS).

Responsibilities

• Analyze root causes of issues and develop recommendations.
• Guide a team to develop study plans, conduct research, create models and tools.
• Brief decision makers and write reports on analytic approaches.
• Develop technologies and concepts to advance efficiencies for customers.
