Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, TX (or Palmdale, CA) seeks a Strategic Operations Research Analyst to model adversary threats and friendly force responses, translating documents into AFFSIM models and delivering analysis for customer needs.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance, Python/C++ development, and strong communication. Location may be Fort Worth, TX or Palmdale, CA with access to complex MS&A techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a STEM discipline from an accredited college / university.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with object oriented programming (Python, C++, etc.).
• DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Modeling adversary military capabilities in Advanced Framework for Modeling, Simulation and Integration (AFSIM).
• Develop software to meet customer needs.
• Post-processing large data sets to draw out valuable insights.
• Coordinating and integrating with teams across Lockheed Martin to conduct high quality and timely analysis.
• Interfacing with internal and external customers and stakeholders ensuring their analysis needs are satisfied.
