Job summary

Gold Star Foods, a leading food distributor to K-12 schools in the United States, seeks an Operations Manager in Canton, MA. The role reports to the Director of Operations and carries an exempt/salary status with a salary range of $85,000.00 to $90,000.00 annually.

The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day facility operations, labor scheduling, and budget attainment, driving efficiency and service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Extensive management experience (5+ years) preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT/logistics regulations is essential.

Responsibilities

• Schedule labor to support purchasing and sales for efficiency and responsiveness.
• Monitor facility budget and achieve budget goals.
• Forecast and prepare operating budget using historical data and benchmarks.
• Identify strategic needs and implement plans.
• Oversee risk management and business continuity planning.
• Lead management staff and develop subordinate staff.
