Job summary

Pentagon Technologies, Inc. seeks a Director of Operations in Mesa to provide overall leadership, vision, and strategic direction for the site’s operations. You will drive safety, profitability, and operational excellence while leading multiple plant departments and coordinating with Corporate and Business Unit leadership.

You will mentor teams, manage KPIs, and ensure processes meet ISO 9000 requirements, with a focus on continuous improvement, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with 10 years in a leadership role within a controlled manufacturing environment.
• Semiconductor industry experience highly preferred but not required.
• Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Quality tools training such as ISO9001 and 8D/RCCA methodology desirable.
• Proficient with MS Office and capable of writing routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary leader, communicator, and mentor for plant employees and departments.
• Oversee Production, Process Assurance, Maintenance, Administration, Customer Service, Process Engineering, Laboratory, and Waste Management.
• Monitor profitability, quality, and operational performance; adjust staffing and equipment as needed.
• Ensure timely directing of customer issues to the appropriate departments and resources.
• Drive product quality, process efficiency, and continuous improvement; act as Management Quality Representative for ISO 9000.
• Promote safety training and compliance with policies and Code of Conduct.
• Maintain high standards for attendance, punctuality, and compliance with procedures.
• Keep plant and surroundings organized and safe.
• Maintain understanding of systems and databases related to orders, pricing, and accounting docs.
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally; manage stakeholder relationships.
• Build relationships with customers and participate in site-level audits.
