Job summary

Teledyne Battery Products in Redlands, CA seeks a Director of Operations to lead manufacturing, supply chain, maintenance, facilities, EH&S, and operational excellence. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost while developing workforce capability and reporting to the General Manager.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of operations leadership in manufacturing, with MBA preferred, strong lean/6S knowledge, ERP experience (Infor XA a plus), and proven capital project oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• 7+ years in Operations leadership in manufacturing.
• 5+ years leading multiple departments through managers.
• Strong knowledge of 6S and lean manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP systems; Infor XA a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong written and verbal skills.
• US Person or US citizen required.

Responsibilities

• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Convert confirmed orders into cash while meeting commitments.
• Set site-wide objectives for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory.
• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with goals and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and improve operational execution and predictability.
• Drive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.
• Lead engineering initiatives to improve process efficiency and support capital projects.
• Ensure the factory floor is clean, organized, and understood.
• Build a high-performing leadership team through coaching and development.
• Serve as a key member of the Battery Products leadership team.
