Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Director of Operations in Redlands, CA to provide strategic and operational leadership for manufacturing, supply chain, facilities, EH&S, and operational excellence. You will drive safety, quality, on-time delivery, cost control, and workforce development, reporting to the General Manager and aligning with site leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or equivalent
MBA or advanced technical degree preferred
7+ years operations leadership experience in manufacturing
5+ years leading multiple departments through subordinate managers
Experience with lean manufacturing and 6S
Experience building strategic plans and managing budgets

Responsibilities

Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Convert confirmed customer orders into cash while meeting commitments
Set site-wide objectives for safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory and engagement
Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with goals and regulatory requirements
Lead maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and uptime
Lead engineering initiatives to improve process efficiency
Build a high-performing leadership team through coaching and reviews
