Job summary

Spot & Tango, a fast-growing pet health and wellness brand, is seeking a Strategic Operations Manager to scale operations for Spot & Tango and PupGum in Midtown Manhattan. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization and with supply-chain partners to drive end-to-end implementation.

You bring consulting or investment banking experience plus startup operating chops, strong analytical skills, Excel proficiency, and comfort negotiating with manufacturers. Dog lovers are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years at a top-tier management/strategy consulting firm or investment bank; consumer goods/retail experience is a plus.
• 2+ years in an operating role at a growth-stage startup (strategic operations, product manager, etc.).
• Exceptional analytical abilities; strong Excel; familiarity with Omni or Tableau preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Operations Roadmap - develop and execute roadmap of strategic initiatives to improve margin, scale, and product/customer experience.
• Strategic Projects - own ad-hoc initiatives critical to brand's growth, pilot new formats, test SKUs, and build a business case for full launches.
