Job summary

Larkin University in Florida seeks an Assistant Dean for Business Operations to lead the financial, administrative, and operational functions of the School of Dental Medicine. You will ensure fiscal sustainability, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence in service of education, patient care, research, and service.

The role requires strategic collaboration with the Dean and leadership team to implement new programs, optimize clinical operations, and support CODA accreditation

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Healthcare Administration (MHA), Public Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, academic health centers, or dental organizations.
• Demonstrated experience in financial management, budgeting, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial, administrative, and operational functions of the School of Dental Medicine.
• Oversee budgets, revenue cycle, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Manage clinical operations, patient scheduling, billing, and KPI monitoring.
• Direct HR, procurement, facilities, and space utilization; oversee contracts and vendor relations.
• Drive strategic planning, new programs, accreditation support, and risk management.
