Job summary

Crowe is seeking a Business Operations Assistant Director in Indiana to drive strategic and operational planning within a business unit.

The role partners with leaders to manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting while ensuring policy compliance and timely decision support across functions. You will translate strategy into execution and support continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Operations, or related field.
• 6–9+ years of experience in business operations or FP&A.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting.
• Strong analytical and data-translation skills.
• Experience cross-functional initiatives.
• Proficiency with financial and reporting tools, spreadsheets, and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities for aligned business units or cost centers.
• Prepare and analyze recurring and ad hoc financial and operational reports; identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with firm financial, procurement, and operational policies and guidelines.
• Assist in managing project budgets, invoicing, and expense tracking; coordinate with Finance and Procurement as needed.
• Support workforce planning activities, including resource forecasting and organizational changes.
• Manage and coordinate operational projects or initiatives as assigned, tracking progress and supporting delivery.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of operational processes, tools, templates, and metrics.
• Prepare materials for leadership meetings, including reports, presentations, and status updates.
• Represent business operations in cross-functional teams or working groups where operational insight is required.
• Support change initiatives, communications, and continuous improvement efforts across the aligned organization.
