Job summary

Novolex is seeking a qualified Accounting/Operations Accountant to manage month-end journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations. You will collaborate closely with manufacturing and warehousing teams to ensure accurate financials and inventory metrics.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business, strong Excel skills, and ERP exposure (SAP a plus). Travel to locations may be required; a competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business required.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
• SAP or other ERP experience a plus.
• 2+ years of operations accounting and/or inventory experience required.
• Ability to interact with manufacturing, business units and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Create and post journal entries and accruals for month end responsibilities.
• Significant interaction with manufacturing and warehousing throughout the month.
• Perform account reconciliations for related accounts.
• Assist in ERP integration efforts.
• Report on inventory metrics at locations (reserves, cycle counts, etc.).
• Assist with non-PO research in invoicing systems.
• Create presentations/worksheets for executive status updates.
• Possible travel to manufacturing and warehousing locations.
