Job summary

PPG Industries, Inc. is seeking an Operations Finance Manager for Large Liquid & Resin, based at the General Office in Pittsburgh, with a hybrid work policy.

You will lead a six-person Operations Finance team across manufacturing and distribution operations, delivering timely data, cost analyses, and reporting to support profitability decisions. The role emphasizes internal controls and collaboration with Operations and BU Finance leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with 6+ years of finance and accounting experience.
• Previous supervisory experience is required.
• Willingness to travel to manufacturing plant locations on a quarterly basis.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle or SAP) and proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of six Operations Finance members, including on-site Plant Controllers and Analysts.
• Complete month-end close activities for manufacturing and distribution operations.
• Provide profit analysis and communicate costs, variances, and manufacturing strategy.
• Manage inventory accounts, trend analysis, reconciliations, and physical inventories.
• Support annual budget and quarterly product re-costs for inventory valuation.
• Assist with ad hoc requests such as capital projects and costing analyses.
• Ensure procedures comply with internal controls.
• Act as business partner to Operations and Business Unit Finance leadership.
