Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline.
• Eleven or more years of progressively complex experience in finance/accounting.
• Experience in or government contractor environment.
• Demonstrates application of industry and government cost accounting principles.
• Strong leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills to influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Be a business partner to the Operations leadership team by providing leadership and guidance on financial decisions.
• Work cross functionally to ensure efficient business processes and profitability; review and challenge peers when necessary.
• Provide finance insight to non-finance partners, including potential actions for recovery to plans.
• Manage and develop the Operations Finance team.
• Oversee financial metrics including overhead, labor utilization, rate management, inventory and capex.
• Lead budgeting activities for annual operation plans and quarterly forecasts.
• Provide timely reporting and analysis of performance to facilitate decision-making.
• Foster continuous improvement and adoption of best practices and new technologies.
