Job summary

Tulane University’s Grant Center for the American Jewish Experience seeks an operational leader and external ambassador. This role unites center staff, manages operations, and protects brand identity while enabling the Executive Director to focus on intellectual leadership and fundraising.

The role oversees the center's budget, cultivates external relationships, and directs strategic communications and donor outreach to ensure all workstreams achieve objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Advanced degree in a relevant field strongly preferred.
• Experience managing staff and multi-workstream operations.
• Experience drafting external communications and donor materials.
• Experience with fundraising partnerships and institutional communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-functional team and set expectations, including performance reviews and growth support.
• Oversee budget execution, financial monitoring, and restricted fund compliance.
• Act as a credible external representative to faculty, leadership, and community partners.
• Direct strategic communications and donor outreach across the center.
• Draft high-stakes external communications and stewardship materials.
