Job summary

National Geographic Society seeks a Vice President, Strategy and Operations - Special Collections to lead the lifecycle of media assets from creation to archival storage. You will partner across internal teams and external stakeholders, drive strategy, and ensure assets are accessible and usable for mission-driven storytelling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in enterprise media/digital asset management.
• 7+ years leading teams and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic partner translating vision into priorities.
• Provide leadership and operational support for large-scale initiatives.
• Improve divisional efficiencies, workflows, and resource allocation.
• Monitor division performance, budgets, and talent development.
