Job summary

Californians Together seeks an Operations Director to provide strategic leadership over core operational functions and serve as a key partner to the Executive Director. This role strengthens internal infrastructure, financial stewardship, and people practices to support mission-driven growth.

You will oversee finance, HR, administration, compliance, and systems, ensuring policies and procedures are compliant, scalable, and effectively executed.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of progressive leadership in operations, finance, administration, or people operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership of core operational functions.
• Oversee finance, HR, administration, compliance, and systems for scalability.
• Supervise 3-5 staff and manage external vendors and outsourced accounting.
• Lead organizational planning, risk assessment, and performance improvements.
• Support audit readiness and grant reporting as needed.
