Job summary

Vicus Capital is seeking a Director of Operations to lead the Operations and DCSA teams in State College, PA. This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and focuses on monitoring daily operations, policy development with Compliance, and back-up coverage for staff tasks such as account processing and cashiering.

The ideal candidate will drive process improvements, manage vendor relationships, and ensure strong client service for the nationwide financial advisor network.

Qualifications

• Series 65 license required within one year of hire (or ability to obtain).
• Strong professionalism and work ethic.
• Excellent people skills with ability to coach and manage staff.
• Critical thinking, problem solving and time management.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Systems analysis, project management with task prioritization.
• Highly organized, detail oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Proactive with workplace technology and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead Operations and DCSA staff, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly.
• Manage relationships with advisors and their staff nationwide.
• Back-up processing tasks as needed and monitor SLA performance.
• Develop and enforce policies in collaboration with Compliance.
• Design continuity plans and cross-train staff for coverage.
• Collaborate with Compliance on regulatory changes and implementations.
