Job summary

Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, seeks a Strategy & Operations Analyst to provide core operational support, data validation, and process-mapping within the Office of Enterprise Strategy & Continuous Improvement. The role collaborates with academic and administrative staff to gather data and document workflows.

You will track metrics across Adoption, Alignment, Execution, and Organizational Effectiveness, ensure high-quality data, and deliver clear reports to inform leadership decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required.
• 1-2 years of experience with academics preferred.
• Experience using MS Excel and Information Systems.
• Experience using pivot tables, graphs and charts, VLOOKUP and other Excel functions.
• Ability to attain an understanding of technical systems that support the assigned business unit in an effort to provide reporting and subject matter recommendations and support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data management.
• Experience in project management or process improvement is a plus.
• Knowledge of academic policies and procedures within higher education institutions is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process Mapping & Operational Support: document current business outcomes and workflows.
• Performance Data Tracking & Auditing: track operational metrics across Adoption, Alignment, Execution, and Evaluation.
• Platform Data Quality & Reporting Compliance: perform routine data quality checks and track deadlines.
• User Support & Training Assistance: provide helpdesk-style support and create user guides.
• General Responsibilities: pursue professional development and champion data-driven improvements.
