Job summary

Responsibilities include scheduling initial appointments, coordinating medical records, and referrals to NHCI providers while supporting patients from pre-diagnosis through treatment, survivorship, or palliative care. Oncology knowledge and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

Active RN licensure in Georgia.
BSN with oncology experience or ADN with oncology experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Oncology nursing certification or 36 hours of oncology CE in 3 years.
Strong verbal and written communication; work well with all clinic levels.
Strong analytical and critical thinking in applying oncology nursing knowledge.
Strong customer service skills and initiative; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

Coordinate intake of new oncology patients and assess clinical needs.
Determine placement along cancer care continuum and coordinate referrals.
Schedule initial appointments and manage medical records transfer.
Facilitate referrals to NHCI providers and resources across care phases (pre-diagnosis to palliative).
