Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care for patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines. The role requires an RN license in Georgia in good standing and BLS certification; BSN degree is preferred and two years of RN experience is desirable.

Additional life support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP) or other clinical certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two years of RN experience preferred.
• Additional Life Support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP) or other clinical certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Adhere to the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
