Job summary

Okanagan Specialty Fruits Inc. seeks a Merchandise Planner to drive omni-channel merchandising strategies, balance assortments, and optimize profitability.

You’ll partner with leaders to align buy plans, pricing, and promotions with market needs, ensuring inventory performance across stores and online platforms. You will analyze trends, collaborate across Planning, Design, Sourcing, and Digital teams, and support presentations and vendor meetings to maximize ROI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Excellent computer skills with emphasis on Excel.
• Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Research market trends and identify opportunities for core customer.
• Determine quantities to order by style, size, and color in line with plans.
• Partner with Planning & Allocation to maximize sales and margins.
• Develop relationships with customers to reflect buying preferences.
• Own merchandise, sales, inventory, and margins with leadership.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to plan assortments for designated categories.
• Manage sample coordination and asset reviews.
