Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory is seeking an experienced Office Administrator to support the National Security Analysis Department's Program Area Manager and program staff. This role emphasizes organization, multi-task coordination, and secure handling of sensitive information.

You will manage calendars, travel, meetings, and knowledge management while coordinating with program leadership, operations, and external sponsors.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience required.
• At least 10 years of administrative/programmatic support experience.
• Proven ability to handle complex tasks with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in MS Office for documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to interact with leadership and sponsors.
• Active Top Secret security clearance and eligibility for TS/SCI pending.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to PAM, PMs, and program staff.
• Manage calendars, travel, meetings, and PMR coordination.
• Coordinate sponsor engagements, security requirements, and logistics.
• Maintain program area documentation, knowledge management, and templates.
• Monitor action items, leadership tasks, and commitments for accountability.
• Support IRAD activities, reviews, and related events.
