Job summary

PSI is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) in St. Louis, Missouri, to lead nursing services across our healthcare facilities. The role drives high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and efficient staff management within a hybrid work environment.

The DON will craft policies, partner with interdisciplinary teams, and champion patient safety, quality improvement, and compassionate care delivery. Requires BSN and RN licensure with 2+ years of leadership experience; Master’s degree

Qualifications

• BSN required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Current RN licensure in applicable state(s).
• Minimum 2 years of progressive nursing leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
• Proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the nursing department across assigned facilities.
• Manage nursing staff recruitment, development, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
• Develop and maintain nursing policies, protocols, and standards of care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes.
• Lead quality improvement projects focused on patient safety and satisfaction.
• Oversee budget management and resource allocation for nursing services.
