Job summary

Priority Management Group, LLC seeks an experienced Director of Nursing for St Joseph Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Monroe, LA. The DON will oversee nursing services, coordinate patient care, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and company standards, while promoting compassionate, high-quality care.

The role requires a current RN license, a nursing degree, and several years in long-term or acute care with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as RN in good standing with the state’s Board of Nursing.
• Associate or Bachelor Degree from an accredited nursing school required.
• Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred; At least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage Nursing Services per physician orders and resident needs.
• Provide 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services.
• Coordinate care plans with physicians, staff, and departments.
• Ensure quality standards, infection control, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and budgetary standards.
