Animal Care Centers of NY (ACC) is seeking a Recruiter to support recruitment across our NYC locations, including the new Bronx Care Center. The role focuses on attracting, engaging, and hiring qualified talent while delivering a positive candidate experience.

Join ACC’s mission-driven team and help expand our growing staff as we provide essential animal care and community services. The position offers hybrid work with 2–3 days onsite and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years of recruitment experience required.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Working knowledge of employment laws and recruitment best practices.

Aufgaben

• Manage the recruitment process for assigned positions across multiple departments and locations, from application through hire, while providing a positive candidate experience.
• Review applications, conduct initial candidate interviews, assess qualifications, and provide hiring recommendations to hiring managers.
• Use the applicant tracking system and recruitment tools to maintain accurate candidate information, track recruitment activity, and support reporting.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and provide support throughout the hiring process.
• Source candidates through job boards, professional networks, social media, and other recruitment methods.
• Represent ACC at career fairs, networking events, and community partnerships to promote employment opportunities.
• Track recruitment activity and hiring metrics and provide information to support improvements to the recruitment process.
• Collaborate with external partners, colleges, and organizations to support community recruiting efforts.
• Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives by using inclusive recruitment and hiring practices.
