Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Technical Sourcing Manager for Network Hardware to lead procurement across routers, switches, and interconnects for 200+ data centers. You will negotiate long-term TCO targets and partner with hardware engineering on new tech while bridging procurement with deployment teams.

Available locations include Austin, TX and Lisbon, Portugal, with a focus on cost, quality, and supply. Strong analytical skills and AI-aware approaches are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience working with networking equipment OEMs.
• Direct experience delivering datacenter infrastructure projects in a fast-changing environment.
• Strong understanding of commercial benefits of hardware technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with varied stakeholders.
• AI-native curiosity to create solutions using latest tools.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing across network hardware including routers, switches, interconnects.
• Lead multi-party vendor negotiations to hit supply and cost targets.
• Oversee supplier quality and contract adherence including asset inventories.
• Coordinate with hardware engineering on new technologies and evaluation processes.
• Drive deployment oversight and align supply with global deployment schedules.
• Identify and implement automation to optimize physical deployment processes.
