Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Network Contract Manager to lead the development and management of provider networks that balance access, quality, and costs. You will use financial models and contract knowledge to support negotiation strategies, while coordinating with internal teams to advance network priorities.

The role emphasizes ownership, resourcefulness, and the ability to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines. This is a remote role aligned to PST hours.

Responsibilities

• Support development and ongoing management of geographically competitive provider networks meeting access, affordability, quality, and performance objectives.
• Evaluate provider participation, specialty distribution, network adequacy, provider performance, and market needs.
• Manage unit cost budgets, target setting, performance reporting, and financial models for negotiation strategy.
• Evaluate, negotiate, and support provider contracts aligned with templates and reimbursement standards.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with providers and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues.
