BCBSMA is seeking a Contract Leader to manage end-to-end contracting for a portfolio of hospital and physician groups across the United States. You will negotiate terms, draft proposals, and ensure alignment with payment models and cost targets.

You will analyze market data, develop rate proposals with actuarial support, and coordinate with legal and business teams to finalize contracts. Strong analytical and persuasive communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Negotiation experience with hospital/physician contracts and payor models.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead negotiations for an assigned portfolio of contracts, including fee-for-service, risk-sharing, and pay-for-performance.
• Manage all aspects of negotiations: market data analysis, proposals, terms, and drafting language with legal and business teams.
• Develop rate proposals using Excel-based models and coordinate with actuarial for analytics.
• Ensure new terms and rates are communicated and implemented on contract effective date.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure contracts align with corporate strategy and health plan operations.
