Job summary

KBR, Inc. seeks a Nuclear Command and Control (NC3) Subject Matter Expert to support HQ Combat Forces Command at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs.

You will provide strategic analysis, planning, and operational expertise across NC3 domains including ITW/AA, missile warning, SATCOM, and CCIC2S. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance, a bachelor's degree, and 10+ years in NC3 or related fields.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of NC3/nuclear operations experience or equivalent.
• Experience with NC3-related systems and mission areas such as ITW/AA, missile warning/tracking, SATCOM, CCIC2S.

Responsibilities

• Analyze NC3 operational capabilities, plans, doctrine, and identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Assess ITW/AA impacts across NC3 and advise mission execution.
• Review system modifications and acquisitions to ensure alignment with requirements.
• Support strategic planning and policy development for NC3 and the nuclear enterprise.
• Participate in Nuclear Enterprise Reviews, Nuclear Oversight Boards, and related governance groups.
• Evaluate funding decisions and develop actions to address shortfalls or new requirements.
• Support development of program plans, budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Develop and update operational docs including directives, requirements, and mission task reports.
• Provide strategic advice and analytical recommendations to senior leaders on NC3 programs.
• Travel may be required for meetings and events.
