Job summary

You will coordinate the annual operating budget, ERP-based budget loading, external audit, and financial policy development under the Finance Director, with responsibility across departments.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of governmental accounting, budgeting, auditing, and financial reporting.
• Experience with GASB pronouncements and public sector finance.
• Strong ability to coordinate budgets, audits, and financial systems projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates implementation of the City's annual operating budget following adoption by City Council.
• Coordinates annual budget loading, testing, balancing, and activation within the City's ERP system.
• Maintains annual budget calendars, schedules, workflows, and implementation procedures.
• Assists with operating, capital improvement, debt service, grant, and special revenue budgets.
• Develops budget models, forecasts, and financial analyses.
• Reviews departmental budget submissions for accuracy and compliance.
