D.R. Horton - Multifamily in Las Vegas is seeking a Development Associate to support the direct development of multifamily projects.

You will underwrite opportunities, prepare pro formas, and coordinate with construction and third-party consultants to meet budgets and schedules. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, 3–5 years of related experience, and strong Excel modeling skills, with proficiency in MS Office and email.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 3–5 years of related experience and/or training.
• Proficient in advanced Excel financial modeling.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Source and underwrite development opportunities.
• Prepare pro-formas and financial projections for developments.
• Conduct field investigations including rent studies and area analysis.
• Manage zoning, entitlement, and permitting activities.
• Perform underwriting with analysis of market information and costs.
• Coordinate with construction personnel to meet budget and timing targets.
• Engage third party consultants on plans entitlements and financing.
• Support development team in disposition and negotiations through close.
