Job summary

Kolter Multifamily LLC in Florida seeks a Development Associate to support the full lifecycle of multifamily projects, including market research, underwriting, and feasibility analysis. You will coordinate with architects, engineers, lenders, and municipal partners to advance opportunities from acquisition through turnover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a concentration in real estate, finance, economics, business, engineering, construction management, architecture, urban planning, or a related field.
• 3 - 6 years of experience with ground-up multifamily development.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and project coordination skills; proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn new software and AI-assisted tools.
• Ability to read and interpret financial reports, market comps, market reports, contracts, development schedules, construction plans.

Responsibilities

• Support the pursuit and evaluation of new multifamily development opportunities with market research and financial analyses.
• Coordinate site planning, budgets, design coordination, and permit timelines with internal teams and external consultants.
• Attend hearings and meetings; track approvals, conditions, and budget implications to align with the business plan.
• Prepare project status reports, schedules, risk logs, and updates for senior leadership.
