Responsibilities

• Support the development team in managing residential, multi‑family, and mixed‑use projects across the company’s portfolio.
• Assist with project research, documentation, and coordination from early planning through final delivery.
• Track timelines, budgets, and schedules while maintaining quality standards.
• Coordinate internal teams and collaborate with external consultants, contractors, and local agencies to keep projects moving smoothly.
• Manage project coordination responsibilities, including entitlement, schedules, budgets, and planning for each assigned project.
• Identify risks, roadblocks, and evaluate financial feasibility throughout the development cycle.
• Develop and publish project performance dashboards and reports.
• Recommend improvements to scheduling processes.
• Manage vendor and consultant relations—phone calls, written communication, purchase orders, invoice tracking, and payment distributions.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as construction, pre‑construction, capital markets, finance & accounting, development, and operations.
• Participate in project coordination meetings and communicate changes and variances.
• Assist with planning and zoning with local municipalities in the assigned market.
• Perform additional related tasks as needed.

• Basic understanding of real estate development concepts—market research, site selection, project coordination.

• Familiarity with real estate terms and principles, with a willingness to deepen knowledge through hands‑on experience.

• Interest in market trends, financial modeling, permitting, and development processes.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for tracking and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, urban planning, architecture, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least one (1) year of professional, hands‑on real estate experience, preferably focused on multifamily, retail, and/or mixed‑use projects with demonstrated ability to oversee the entire lifecycle from concept through completion.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to primarily sit; stand; walk; handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, crouching, and crawling; specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to focus. Work environment: office setting with regular exposure to project sites.

Travel

Occasional travel to local and out‑of‑state markets, including Ohio, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Denver, and Florida.
