Job summary

Prysmian is seeking an MRO Commodity Manager for Highland Heights, KY. This role focuses on developing MRO category strategies, managing supplier relationships, and negotiating favorable pricing and contracts.

You will drive cost reductions, standardization, and supplier performance across global procurement initiatives. You will manage over $150M in annual spend and partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver savings and support manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business, Finance, Operations Management or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, project management, engineering procurement, or CAPEX procurement.
• Proficient with ERP systems (SAP).
• Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute MRO category strategies, lead strategic supplier relationships, and negotiate pricing agreements and rebates.
• Develop and execute MRO sourcing strategies to reduce costs, drive standardization, strengthen supplier partnerships, and support regional and global procurement initiatives.
• Lead supplier management efforts with performance reviews, KPIs, continuous improvement, and issue resolution.
• Negotiate contracts and commercial terms including pricing, service levels, inventory programs, payment terms, warranties, and compliance.
• Optimize MRO inventory and working capital by partnering with plant teams to improve spare parts strategies and reduce obsolescence.
