Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare MRO or related field.
  • Three years of procurement and contracting experience in healthcare.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and items commonly used in a hospital setting.
  • Experience in developing, negotiating, and administering major MRO goods, services and equipment contracts.
  • Work in a high-volume environment with strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing, email, and web-based tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of MRO contracting, including solicitation, negotiation, and administration of complex agreements, ensuring compliance with policies and risk management.
  • Manage the full contract lifecycle for significant services and complex goods/inv, including planning, solicitation, negotiation, award, and administration.
  • Partner with the Value Analysis Portfolio Manager to conduct financial and risk analysis to meet departmental needs and drive data-driven contract decisions.
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging MRO market trends and developments in assigned commodity areas.
  • Build partnerships with departments and suppliers to promote MRO contracts and maximize benefits.
  • Participate in process improvement projects, assist with reporting and contract maintenance, and help develop business reviews.

Education

Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in healthcare MRO, supply chain management, or another quantitative field
