Job summary

Hendrickson in Lebanon, KY is seeking a Buyer I to procure MRO supplies, fabricated components and outside services to support production schedules. You will coordinate material planning with production, customer service, quality and engineering while maintaining ERP data accuracy and driving cost-reduction initiatives.

Responsibilities include releasing POs, managing supplier performance, supporting Kanban and MRP improvements, and working with internal teams to resolve issues that impact

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
• APICS or related certification (CPIM, CPM, CIRM) preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform material planning and scheduling with Production and Customer Service to support delivery KPIs.
• Coordinate with Shipping/Receiving to ensure accurate shipments and receipts.
• Maintain accuracy of MRP data, supplier records, and P.O. information.
• Release and maintain work orders for production and outside processing.
• Review requisitions and prepare purchase orders for materials and services.
• Monitor supplier performance and communicate delivery status and issues.
• Assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
