Job summary

Texana Bank Mortgage is seeking a dedicated mortgage processing professional in Keller, TX. You will perform initial appraisals, assess borrower credit standings, and interview applicants to determine loan eligibility.

You will analyze files for program applicability, gather income/assets documentation, and coordinate with loan officers, title companies, and underwriters. This role requires strong organization, compliance, and customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Post-TRID knowledge required.
• Understanding of direct/indirect lending procedures.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and sales skills.
• Encompass experience preferred.
• Preferably 5+ years processing conventional, VA and FHA loans.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs, explore loan options, and review files for completeness.
• Verify accuracy of system input.
• Coordinate submission to underwriting, documentation requests and closing conditions.
• Review HUD-1 and resolve discrepancies prior to closing.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and confidentiality of bank information.
