Strategic Mission Applications and Systems Support Lead

The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Strategic Mission Applications and Systems Support Lead to play a pivotal role in supporting USSTRATCOM and its national mission. They oversee the development, integration, and maintenance of mission-critical applications and systems. This position demands expertise in strategic operations, systems architecture, and team leadership to ensure seamless support for the command’s national objectives. The work location for this position is Omaha, Nebraska. The position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command SCITLS contract.


Responsibilities:

  1. Supports USSTRATCOM’s strategic mission systems, databases, and applications.
  2. Supports application enterprise integrated deployment cycles.
  3. Leads design, provides direction, and coordinates activities of development for mission capabilities of new or existing systems.
  4. Leads a multidisciplinary team of engineers and analysts in the design and implementation of strategic mission applications.
  5. Mentors and develops team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  6. Manages project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  7. Directs the development of application design, creation, coding, debugging, and testing.
  8. Analyzes, defines, and documents design for data, workflow, logical processes, and operating system environment.
  9. Plans and leads major technology assignments.
  10. May supervise others.

Qualifications:

Required:

  1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  2. 7 years of experience in systems support, software development, or related fields with a focus on defense or military applications.
  3. Required 8140 Cert: 802 - Intermediate; Approved DoD 8140 cyber-related certification; OR Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated; OR Training and Additional Cert.
  4. Proven experience in project management and team leadership.
  5. Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is: $70,900 - $148,900. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
